About This Event

Join music educators from across Queensland for a day of professional learning, practical strategies, and meaningful connections.

The program features keynote speaker Diana Tolmie, who will present Musicians as Employees, exploring the role of musicians in today's workforce and the skills and attributes that support success in professional settings.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in our Leadership Conversations panel, designed to spark discussion around the opportunities and challenges shaping music education.

Choose from a range of specialist workshops, including a dynamic Choral Workshop led by Jenny Moon. This session will explore rehearsal techniques, vocal development, repertoire selection, and strategies for supporting singers of all experience levels. Alternatively, discover new ways to engage students through music technology in a hands-on GarageBand Workshop.

Explore curriculum-focused breakout sessions tailored for both Junior and Secondary School educators, featuring practical hacks, ready-to-use resources, and classroom activities aligned with Version 9.0. These interactive sessions will provide immediately applicable ideas to support teaching and learning outcomes across all year levels.

The day concludes with networking drinks, providing the perfect opportunity to connect with colleagues, exchange ideas, and continue the conversations inspired throughout the program.
